ISNHS INTRAMURALS: Moments That Mattered
Intramurals week is always one of the most exciting times of the school year, and this year's event was no different. From the opening program to the different competitions and activities, the atmosphere was filled with energy, school spirit, and fun. Although I didn't compete in any games, but I made sure to be part of the experience in my own way, and guess what? I’m glad I did!......The intramurals officially kicked off with the opening program, and it was such a lively start!!.... The event began with a parade of athletes and participants, proudly representing their teams. Speeches from our school officials followed, reminding us about the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, and school pride. The highlight of the opening ceremony, for me, was the lighting of the torch, it really made everything feel official and grand.
One of the most anticipated events of the week was the search for Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2025–2026. I made sure to grab a good seat to watch the pageant unfold and it was absolutely worth it!....The contestants showcased their talents, intelligence, and confidence in front of the cheering crowd. By the end of the event, the newly crowned Mr. and Ms. Intramurals truly deserved their titles. After that, we watched different games.
Watching the boxing competition during the intramurals was such a special experience, especially because I was there to support Kenzie. The atmosphere was intense, with everyone cheering loudly, but all I could focus on was him, calm, determined, and ready to give it his all. He stepped into the ring with so much courage and heart, and even though he didn’t win, he gave everything he had until the final bell. I was so proud of him, not just for how he fought, but for how he carried himself afterward. He smiled through the disappointment, hugged his opponent, and walked out of the ring with grace and humility. That kind of strength, the quiet, genuine kind, says more than any medal ever could. Seeing him look over and smile at me in the crowd made my heart feel full.
